StatPress 1.4, waiting 2010…

Hi, I’m uploading a new StatPress release. As usual, I’ve fixed some bugs and update DEF files.

Surfing the web I’ve visited www.ip2nation.com so I’ve thought about adding the benefits of that database to StatPress, so that with this release we could enjoy a more precise country detection.

To use ip2nation database you have to download it, copy ip2nation.sql in your StatPress folder and click StatPressUpdate menu item. StatPress loads the datas which are contained in sql file and starts using it.

You can remove the original sql file and repeat above mentioned procedure when ip2nation will be updated.

In details section we could enjoy a new country chart.

Without ip2nation database, StatPress continues working as usual using browser language detection.

After much frustration with external stat sites, this one was a godsend. Thank you so much, it is amazingly comprehensive.

    Hi,

Thanks very much for an amazing stats counter, the best plug in for wordpress – period!

Howver, one problem – I used statpress (in all its forms) on several blogs but for some reason it now only counts visitors up to 4 and no more! I know that I have more than 4 visitors – it’s in the thousands per day. The sites I am currently using statpress on are http://www.johntrayhorn.com/wordpress and http://www.johntrayhorn.com/blog
All other functions work just fine, I am at a loss to know if it’s a problem with my server or have you had other reports of this?

Thanks again for a superb plug in

    Excellent plugin, thank you
Can you add a code to show the pageviews in total and pageviews today in the widget (for example %pageviewstoday%). Thank you!

Great plugin. Really helpful for tracking stats in real time. I’ve used Google Analytics for websites in the past. Some features it has, that would be nice to see here is who the ip address is registered to, and if for geomapping, it could narrow it down to city. Keep up the good work!

Can you plan to insert an option that permit to specify some ip address (eventually IP/NET MASK so is possible to specifiy entire Network) that need to be excluded from statistics ?

query: is it not possible to add a field in the settings area, where we can enter our own IP, so that the stat’s will “skip” that entry on alll the reports….would surely help a great deal in my case at least….

    ???
